Attorney-at-law and Doctor of Laws, specializing in medical law. Author of numerous academic publications and twice listed among the 50 Most Influential Lawyers in Poland by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. He has prepared legal opinions for, among others, the Polish Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).
He earned his PhD and Master’s degree at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. He has lectured at the University of Warsaw and Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University. For many years, he has cooperated with leading Polish law firms and non-governmental organizations engaged in legal issues.
His experience includes drafting legal and medico-legal opinions, as well as representing clients in judicial and administrative proceedings. As a legal expert, he has been invited to participate in the work of, among others, the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the LIBE and AFCO Committees of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe’s Monitoring Committee, the U.S. Department of State, and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Senate of the Republic of Poland. His legal opinions have been repeatedly cited by the European Court of Human Rights.
He has been recognized twice by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna in its ranking of the most influential lawyers in Poland, ranking 37th in 2017 and 35th in 2019.

From 1983 to 1991, he served as President of the National Council of Attorneys-at-Law. He was the Speaker of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) during its second term and the Chair of the National Assembly that adopted the Constitution of the Republic of Poland (1997).

Trainee Attorney-at-Law Patryk Miernowski
Lawyer and trainee attorney-at-law, member of the legal team at TZLAW Law Firm, and actively involved in the work of non-governmental organizations.
Since 2022, he has served as an Alternate Member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) — an advisory body of the European Union based in Brussels.
He is the author of numerous legal and social analyses and reports, having gained professional experience in Warsaw-based law firms and third-sector organizations.
In the past, he has participated in meetings of the Polish Parliamentary Committees on Freedom of Speech and Counteracting Parental Alienation, as well as in consultations with the European Commission on the rule of law in Poland.
In addition to graduating with distinction with a Master’s degree in Law, he also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Kozminski University in Warsaw and is a graduate of the German Law School at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw — both completed with honors.
Przemysław Pietrzak
Lawyer and expert in financial law and human rights. Author of numerous academic publications and legal analyses, particularly on the judiciary system and the protection of individual rights. He has prepared legal opinions for Polish public institutions and non-governmental organizations.
Graduate of the Professional Certificate in World Politics & International Negotiation program in New York and the summer school The Legal System and Justice System of the U.S. in the Global Context, organized by the Center for American Law Studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.
Professionally associated with the Ministry of Justice, the Permanent Representation of Poland to the European Union in Brussels, the Academy of Justice (formerly the Higher School of Justice), the Institute of Justice, and several Warsaw-based law firms. He also headed the work of an academic publishing house and the editorial board of Kultura Prawna — a journal listed in the official register of peer-reviewed scientific journals of the Polish Ministry of Education and Science.
His professional experience includes preparing constitutional, international, and institutional legal analyses and opinions, as well as providing support in legislative processes and public policy development. He has participated as an expert in projects and bodies cooperating with public administration, EU institutions, and civil society organizations.
Member of the Council for Dialogue with the Young Generation (2nd and 3rd terms) at the Chair of the Committee for Public Benefit. Former member of the Monitoring Committee for the European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021–2027 Program. Alicja Kusak

Kinga Kaniewska
Kinga Kaniewska is a trainee attorney-at-law registered with the Warsaw Bar Association and a graduate of SWPS University Faculty of Law. During her studies, she actively contributed to academic initiatives — coordinating events for the Medical Law Research Circle, participating in the Penitentiary Law Circle, and engaging with ELSA Warsaw.
A finalist of the Student Innovator of the Year 2020 award, she was recognized for promoting the popularization of legal knowledge.
Her main areas of interest include medical and penitentiary law, as well as psychological and legal aspects of domestic violence. She is also the author of several legal and public interest articles and is known for her social commitment, teamwork skills, and openness to interdisciplinary projects.
